At Peninsula Personal Injury Lawyers, we understand that not all cases fall neatly into categories, for example, car accidents or workplace incidents. If you’ve been harmed due to someone else’s negligence, even outside of typical scenarios, you may still have the right to seek compensation under Western Australian law.
“Other negligence claims” cover a wide range of personal injury situations where a duty of care has been breached, causing you harm. Whether your injury occurred in a recreational setting, on private property, due to professional misconduct, or even in a healthcare environment that doesn’t meet the criteria for a formal medical negligence case, we’re here to help. Our experienced team in Mandurah can assess your unique situation and provide clear, straightforward advice about your options.

Emma and Justin both provided the time and patience necessary to oversee a workers’ compensation claim that was thirteen years past the date of injury. I was originally unaware that I was even entitled to a settlement until they sat me down and clearly explained the situation to me. While Emma and Justin were hard at work on the case, the rest of the team supported me with any queries I had; I was never left wondering about an outcome or a pending situation.
Given how personal this was and how long I had been waiting for this claim to be resolved, I have nothing but respect for the teams at both PPL offices. They made what could have been a very difficult task look easy. I would also like to specifically thank you, Alyza, as well as Tracey and Jamie, for taking care of the extra paperwork and for patiently answering the questions I frequently repeated. I know I wasn’t always an easy client due to my injury and the added stress from the opposition’s insurers, but I am incredibly grateful. I thank the entire team at Peninsula Personal Injury Lawyers with a warm heart and the utmost respect. I would refer any friend or family member to the PPL group without hesitation.
Best regards,
J.Dylan

Many people think hiring a lawyer is expensive and risky, but that’s not the case at Peninsula Personal Injury Lawyers. We work on a No Win, No Fee basis, meaning if your negligence claim is successful, the insurer pays your compensation, most of your legal costs, and any disbursements (such as medical reports and evidence). From your compensation, you’ll only pay the remaining legal costs, capped at 10% or the actual amount, whichever is less. Never more than 10%.
If your claim isn’t successful, you pay no legal fees. You’ll only need to reimburse us for any disbursements we’ve covered on your behalf, and we never ask for money up front. There are no hidden costs; we’re transparent from the start.
(e.g. if your claim came to $50,000 then you would only ever pay a maximum of $5,000 as a contribution to the legal fees)
